Use of our mobile app

§ 1 Information about the processing of personal data

  1. We provide you with a mobile application that you can download to your mobile device. Below we inform you about the processing of personal data when you use our mobile app. Personal data is any data that can be attributed to you personally, such as your name, address, e-mail addresses or user behaviour.

  1. The data controller in accordance with Article 4(7) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

  1. If you contact us by e-mail or via a contact form, the data you provide (your e-mail address and, if applicable, your name and telephone number) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. We will delete such data as soon as it is no longer necessary to retain it, or restrict its processing if we are required by law to retain it. If your request relates to a contract, we will delete the data after the contract has expired. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(1)(f) of the GDPR.

§ 2 Your rights

§ 3 Processing of personal data when using our mobile application

  1. We process personal data only to the extent necessary for downloading the mobile app onto your device and for your registration/authentication. The legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(1)(f) of the GDPR.

Collected data includes:

  1. When downloading the mobile app, the app store independently collects various personal data. We have no influence over this data processing and are not responsible for it. We only process the data necessary to download the mobile app to your device.
  2. The mobile application is downloaded to your device and can be used without internet access. No personal information is collected during offline use.

  1. The mobile application does not use cookies.

§ 4 Third party services and cloud storage

  1. Data that is synchronised and/or stored with third parties (e.g., healthcare providers such as hospitals, doctors' offices, or the cloud) is subject to the policies of the third party. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, this data processing.

  1. When personal data stored in the application is to be synchronised with a healthcare provider (HCP), the application user is authenticated to the HCP connector via an OICD server. This is a standard process called OpenID or OAuth2.
